Biography...
Sue Roseberry is a singer/songwriter, storyteller, and playwright who is recognized for her artistic ability and imaginative style. Her performances reach out and touch all ages and are in wide demand as family entertainment.
A graduate of the College of Santa Fe, she has a B.F.A. degree in performing arts. She brings characters to life from slavery, the pages of books and all of our memories of childhood and causes us to reflect and be inspired. Her performances include a wonderful mix of the stories and music that she has composed.
She has written more than 200 musical pieces, which range from gospel songs to children's songs. She has recorded live with the UNAC Mass Choir and the Gospel Music Workshop Of America Mass Choir. In addition, she has appeared with numerous gospel greats including BeBe Winans, The Clark Sisters, Kirk Franklin, Dr. Bobby Jones and Jessy Dixon. In 1998 she appeared with Karen Clark Sheard in a musical drama, "Sex The Silent Killer" for which she wrote three musical pieces. She has appeared with Composer/Director Robert Ray as a featured soloist for performance of his world renowned "Gospel Mass." Sue recorded live with the Mass Choir of the Gospel Music Workshop Of America (GMWA) during their 2002 convention singing Because of the Blood. In October, 2002 Sue was one of six Regional Tellers who performed at Exchange Place during the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
She has written monologues, plays and skits that tell us stories we all need to know. Singing since her earliest memory, Sue has a God-given and rich musical style. She has conducted workshops for Children's ministries, church leadership conferences, and Youth Workers across the country. Her skills to be able to interact with the audience leave a lasting impression and a joyful heart.
Sue has a gift for spontaneity, which allows her to fully involve her listeners. Her audiences have included educational assemblies, Scouting Troops, Library Programs, schools, senior citizen gatherings and all types of retreats and conferences. She is committed to the use of story to pave the way for understanding and the reaching of personal goals.
